Laguna Madre
Once known only to roaming Indian tribes, then by fishermen who found the
waters off this section of the Texas coast to be especially productive, Port Mansfield is
nestled peacefully on the shores of the Laguna Madre

Port Mansfield enjoys the same latitude as Palm Beach, Florida. The Rio
Grande Valley has a semi-tropical climate and much of it has lush semi-tropical
vegetation. Port Mansfield benefits from a sea breeze that keeps it warmer in winter and
cooler during the summer.
